Miss Happ does the Cool Inc Tattoo Expo, Pretoria

This past week end saw Miss Happ pack up shop and hit the road for our Miss Happ road show. First stop was the Cool Inc Tattoo Expo which was held in Pretoria this year at the historic voortrekker monument.

The expo ran from Friday 2pm and ended on Sunday at 6pm. We had an awesome time, meeting new people and chatting to some of our loyal customers who were more than happy to see us in their neck of the woods for a change!

This was the first time we were selling the range to the public since we launched it at our Fashion show, so for once our out of town gals got to have first dibs on the Miss happ range which was exciting for them,

It's been almost a month since we joined the other vendors at Cool Inc Tattoo Convention in Joburg and only now am I getting around to blogging about it! Oh my! How time flies!

The convention started on the Friday, 30th of August and run until that Sunday, 1st of September. We found a fab little spot where we set up our Gazebo next to our Cape Town neighbours for the week end, AnonaMiss Beauty Emporium ladies.

We met so many awesome people over the week-end, from ladies we had chatted to via our Miss Happ facebook page, to long time customers popping over to do a little shopping with us!

Check out some of the super cool gals and guys that popped past our tent to do some retail therapy... all great peeps with a passion for the local Rockabilly culture...

Jozi trek to Cool Inc Tattoo Convention

This year we have decided to make the trek up North to join in at the Johannesburg Cool Ink Tattoo convention. So, if you are in Jo'burg at the end of August you can come past our stand at the expo - We will have all our new Boothill ranges there as well as our ladies Miss Happ clothing & accessories too!

The Convention runs from the Friday midday to the Sunday, so it's a week end of tattoos, music and lots Miss Happ & Boothill shopping!!

WHEN: 30 Aug - 1 Sept

WHERE: cnr Bridle Pass and Champion Road, Kyalami, Johannesburg, Gauteng

It's a month away, so put it in your diaries now!!

Miss Happ does CT International tattoo convention

While we are all still trying to recover from a long 3 days of the convention work has to go on..

The Cape Town International Tattoo convention started on Fri evening and ran till Sunday. We set up my Miss Happ stand on Friday afternoon on probably one of the hottest days of the year! All I can say is many hands make work lighter, so a big thanx to Murray, Milo, Michelle and Rob for the carrying!

My booth space was small, but as always I think we made the most of it and even managed to squeeze in my little change room. I used a vintage suitcase that I have had for a while to display my accessories which worked well and I think it looked quite cute. I also found this great black and white photographic print with palm leave and hibiscus on which worked well for my table cloth - it all started looking very "south pacific", and I loved it!

THis year I decided to go smaller, so that I could show case a little of everything I do, so we had everything from our hair clips & flowers to bandanas, Alice bands, Necklaces and earrings to our new retro coffee table coasters and the chinese parasole's in their bright colours!

I also managed to take some really cute pics of the girls who bought my goodies which is always exciting to see!

We had fun, but I must admit, being home on sunday night was a relief...on my feet. We had been standing from when the show opened in the mornings, till after 11pm each night! Schew! What a week-end!
