Today is yet another child's birthday party and to be honest I am so over any kind of loud, plastic, made in china toy. So with this in mind I was determined to find that little something special.  I am so glad to see that finally the super cute old school, hand crafted trend of toys is finally now available in SA - you all know the kind..those sweet, plush toys in a patch work of funky fabrics with saddle stitching and little felt eyes? yeah!

50's style sunglasses now in store at Wild Fire Piercing, Canal Walk!

I have a fascination of times gone by - in particular the 50's and am always on the quest for the perfect pair of vintage looking sunglasses. Lucky enough for us Tom Ford designed "Nikita" the most beautiful pair of classic black cat's eye sunglasses (below) in his last collection which we are already beginning to see filter down to a more "commercial level" at stores - now I just need to save some cash to get my hand on a pair!

Black Light (Lifestyle Modification Studio) in Clark Road, Glenwood

is where you will find select range of Miss Happ's corsets, tops, jewellery and hair clips!

The store is an alternative lifestyle spot for Durbanites to do a little shopping. Owner, Lesley Granger a Body Piercer, saw a gap in the market for alternative offerings and Black Light was born. We are super excited to be a part of this new venture!
