Wedding fascinators by Miss Happ

I had to make fascinators for a great client this week. The bride is getting married in purple - so much fun! 

The colours were teal, turquoise and purple - so unconventional, but so inspirational to work with! I had a piece of the lace from the brides dress with some of the beadwork that they asked me to incorporate, which I only added into the main Brides fascinator. The theme is "bling" hence the use of all the diamante finishings.

As soon as the wedding is over I will post more pics but for now he's a sneaky pic..or two...

Pretty Peacock Accessories fit for a wedding!

Only getting round to posting pics of the really pretty Peacock hair accessories I custom made for a bridal party last week end; mother-of-the-bride, maid-of-honour and bridesmaid all have matching accessories, a clip, brooch and an alice band! was super happy with the way they came out - especially so because i have never made anything with feathers, or as complicated at the alice band.

I had great clients who knew exactly what they wanted which always helps. The alice band was based on one that Jessica alba was actually seen wearing out one day. Upon investigation there are so many awesome variations that have been made so my job was already half way done.

 My clients brought me all the raw materials; feathers, diamante's, and alice band, I only had to provided the brooch back and the special flat pin bobby clip for the single hair clip which also saved time and effort. Peacock feathers can be very expensive, so it worked out better that the client bought them as it works out cheaper for them!!

White Orchids fit for a wedding!

Durban seems to be full of exciting surprises as it turns out....

I was very busy last week-end with an awesome order to make 45 white orchid hair clips

that are going to be wedding favours for soon-to-be bride Simone.

We managed to source some amazing silk orchids from a local supplier and within two days 

the bride-to be got her flowers...always nice to have a happy customer!
